About Me
From CIA to CEO
The daughter of Indian immigrants, Rupal is a born-and-bred New Yorker now living near London. Her high-octane career as a CIA officer turned serial entrepreneur has taken her from military briefing rooms in jungles and war zones to corporate boardrooms and international stages. After a thrilling career at the CIA, she earned her MBA from London Business School – where she has been Entrepreneur in Residence since 2018 – and started her first business venture, a real estate investment and development group, over ten years ago. As a CEO, leadership consultant, strategic advisor, coach and mentor, she now helps founders, leaders, and next-generation change-makers rewrite the rules of success and become unstoppable.
Working with founders and leaders across sectors
Rupal devotes hundreds of hours a year to pro-bono work as a Mentor for Virgin Start-up, London Business School, Columbia University, and the University of Chicago, working with founders and leaders across sectors to help them through the turbulent ride of starting, scaling, and leading viable, meaningful, and sustainable businesses.
Theory and practice, strategy and tactics
As a sought-after international speaker and consultant, Rupal marries theory and practice, strategy, and tactics in a way that combines her CIA tradecraft training with her profound business grounding in unique and transformative ways. Her first book, From CIA to CEO, offers a one-of-a-kind tradecraft toolkit for anyone looking to get out of their way and become unstoppable.
